In 2007, the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) will holdits 17th Annual Meeting at
Australia's pre-eminent elite sports training and research facility, the Australian Institute of Sport. This will
be the first IADMS conference in the Asia-Pacific region and an excellent opportunity to make links with
high-profile delegates from across the world. The exciting multidisciplinary conference will focus on improving
dancers' health, well-being and performance.?Participants can attend a variety of lectures, forums, workshops,
movement sessions and other presentations. Special Interest Groups Day (28 October 2007) will focus on dance
teachers, physical therapists and other allied health practitioners, and dance movement researchers. In Melbourne
on Monday 29 October 2007, delegates are welcomed to The Australian Ballet School, The Australian Ballet,
Victorian College of the Arts and a performance by the contemporary dance company Chunky Move.
