| Introduction of 2004 International Conference for Dance Medicine, Taiwan |
| 2004 International Conference for Dance Medicine in Taiwan will be held in Taipei Physical Education |
| College/TPEC, Taipei, Taiwan during August 8-10, 2004. In conjunction with other two conferences occur |
| from August 1–7 in Taipei, the Polestar Education from USA works with the TPEC to present more than |
| twenty specialists in the conference. National Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, Taiwan, R.O.C., and |
| Ministry of Education, Taiwan, R.O.C. is the supervisor of the conference. The co-chairs are Professor Li-hwa |
| Tsai of Taiwan and Jan Dunn of USA. |
| The Conference includes presentations in the first two days, and a workshop provided by Polestar Education |
| focusing on Pilates for both prevention and rehabilitation of dance injuries and utilizing equipment and non- |
| equipment formats. Furthermore, Sports physicians, scientists, therapists, dancers, dance or physical educators |
| and other specialists related with dance medicine are invited to share their theoretical, applied and clinical |
| knowledge with an international audience. The conference has become the most exciting occasion to exchange |
| new ideas and expand our knowledge in the field of dance medicine. |
| It is a great pleasure to invite you to Taipei city for the 2004 International Conference for Dance Medicine, |
| Taiwan. Taipei city is not only a modern metropolitan city, but filled with traditional Chinese and Taiwanese |
| cultures. A sightseeing tour in the city or to the island of Taiwan could be arranged through the Conference |
| office in TPEC. Cultural events are awaiting for you before, during and after the conference. The organizing |
